A social-deduction experience built for corporate groups: our immersive murder mystery show, with a debrief that connects the game back to how you actually work together.
Who can you trust? What can you risk? Social deduction games like Mafia, Werewolf, Among Us, and Blood on the Clocktower are increasingly among the world's most popular pastimes, being played in living rooms and selling out events in cities around the world. These games invite people to operate under high stakes with limited information, forcing them to practice vital skills like reading a room, detecting a bluff, building an alliance, and tactically assessing risk before taking a gamble.
Your team is dropped into a world of hidden agendas, incomplete information, and shifting alliances. A recurring countdown to an elimination lottery threatens to take them out of the game, but they can improve their odds by forming voting coalitions and making strategic gambles using in-game currency. A cast of actor/facilitators moves through the room as characters, running minigames, revealing clues, responding to what participants do, helping them dynamically accomplish their hidden objectives. Teams read people, build coalitions, assess credibility, and make decisions without knowing who to trust. Who will survive the night?
Distinguishing a reliable signal from strategic misdirection — the same instinct that reads a negotiation or a tense meeting.
Forming alliances quickly, across colleagues who've never worked together and don't yet know who to trust.
Acting on incomplete information, then adjusting fast when the picture changes — because it will.
A layered network of rules and obstacles pushes players to devise coherent and varied strategies in real time. Afterwards, they're invited to reflect on their approaches.
People learn to read a room by being in a room where it matters. Liar's Night puts real stakes in front of your team and lets them make their own calls, in a format engaging enough that most people forget they're training at all.
Liar's Night transforms any large space into an apocalyptic carnival: two zones — the living world above, the Underworld below for eliminated players — populated by a cast of six trained actor-facilitators in character as ghost clowns, immortal fortune tellers, and other denizens of the endtimes. They run the carnival games, broker deals, and MC the lottery that eliminates players from the living world as the night goes on.
